"Score-based Methods to Control for Confounding"

The intent of this intensive short course is to strengthen the methodological skills of the research community.
The course lectures introduce and develop advanced theory on propensity score analyses. The computer lab sessions provide participants with a data set for the application of propensity scores as a tool to control for confounding in observational research. Course language is English.

Date: Thursday, 15.6.17 (14:30-18h), Friday 16.6.17 (9-17h), Saturday, 17.6.17  (9-12:30h)

Audience: The course is designed for researchers, public health professionals, epidemiologists and clinicians familiar with advanced epidemiologic knowledge, algebra, and statistical computing.

Course Pre-requisite: A course in introductory epidemiology and biostatistics. Courses in intermediate epidemiology and biostatistics are strongly recommended.

1,25 ECT, 20 participants
