This year's NAVICARE Symposium will focus on "Innovative Methods for Trial Design in Health Services Research" in online format. Speakers will be Prof. Shaun Treweek and Dr. Katie Gillies from the University of Aberdeen and PD Dr. Lars Hemkens from the University Hospital Basel.
The conduct of (randomized) trials to assess the effectiveness of interventions in health services research is challenging. They demand considerable resources and their external validity is often questioned. In our 6th NAVICARE symposium, we have invited Prof. Shaun Treweek, Dr. Katie Gillies and PD Dr. Lars Hemkens to discuss these challenges and present some innovative methods for improving the efficiency of trial design and using “real-world” data as complementing evidence.
Please have a look at our flyer or on our website for additional information.
